I didn’t want to wait to reveal my latest creation for my iPhone/iPad game THEM, so here it is! INTRODUCING THE ICON! Yes, I had to put that in bold and in all capitals. Why? Well, the icon happens to be important, believe it or not. I don’t know if I’m just being a jerk when I say that I have held off purchasing some iPhone games because their icons, quite literally, sucked. Yep, I have not purchased apps based on my view of how their icons look!
continue readingTHEM is coming along quite nicely as my list of client projects gets smaller. For the next couple weeks I won’t have too much on plate which will allow me to spend all of that extra time working on bringing THEM to life. This morning I set out to finish a part of my game.
continue readingFinally I have been able to finish off the character that I had “revealed” a week and a half ago. His name is Albert…..he is old….and uses a cane to walk. What does this have to do with THEM? Well, it just so happens that Albert is the character that you play as during the game. Sound weird?
continue readingLooking back on the original splash screen that I had created for THEM, I wasn’t really happy with it. It just didn’t seem to fit the overall design of the game and didn’t mesh well with the style that I had created. THEM’s visual style is a cut-out type of look, and the original splash screen didn’t reflect this.
